GOP Caucus Meeting Straw Poll Results: Governor: State Sen. Scott Wagner won the Southeast straw poll, increasing his lead in the straw polls.  

GOP Caucus Meeting Straw Poll Results: Senate: Congressman Lou Barletta won his fourth straw poll in a row, winning the Southeast Caucus straw poll.

Reed Officially Enters Race to Replace Shuster: State House Majority Leader Dave Reed officially announced his run to replace retiring Congressman Bill Shuster.

Pence to Campaign for Saccone Feb. 2nd: Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for state Rep. Rick Saccone’s Congressional campaign in the special election to replace former Congressman Tim Murphy.

Ethics Investigation Opened into Meehan Over Sexual Harassment Claims: The House Ethics Committee opened an investigation into Congressman Pat Meehan over sexual harassment claims against him, and his office’s handling of the allegations.
