PA-state-flag6The feud between Kathleen Kane and Frank Fina escalates, Fitzpatrick releases his first TV ad and Corbett earns an endorsement. Good morning politicos, here’s the Buzz!

Legislative Elections Update:

HD-105: If you want a candidate who is willing to speak her mind regardless of political consequences, look no further than Kelly Jean McEntee (D), running against Rep. Ron Marscio (R-Dauphin) in the Harrisburg suburbs. She posted on Facebook Sunday: “Dear Steeler Fan Friends: I’m sorry the Steelers lost today, but after five decades as a Browns fan, do you know how happy I am that they WON?!?!?!” Bold words like that take guts for a candidate in Pennsylvania. In her defense McEntee, an engineer, hails from the Buckeye State (where she attended Ohio State – we’ll say no more).

  1. In my defense, do you know what it is like to be a Browns fan (and an Indians fan) for 50 years? The first time my father took me to Cleveland Municipal Stadium I was three years old, half rain/snow, cold wind of the Lake, and that was baseball season. Seriously, Browns fans have survived heartbreak of “The Drive,” “The Fumble,” and countless tears at the end of early playoff games (decades ago). In the last 15 years since the reorganization of the team there have been 13 losing record seasons, 2 winning record seasons, and 1 post season wildcard loss. Have mercy! p.s. My mother grew up in Pittsburgh…does that help?
