Wecht on TV: Democrat David Wecht of Allegheny County is the first statewide candidate on television in the 2011 cycle. The Superior Court hopeful’s campaign today began airing a cutesy 30 second ad on broadcast and cable in southwestern Pa.

Occupy Pat Toomey: About a dozen protesters, armed with makeshift posters and a lifesize cutout of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, gathered outside the Senator’s Allentown office Monday morning.

Inky Endorses Singer & Schmidt: The Philadelphia Inquirer has endorsed the two newcomers and reformers for City Commission, the body that oversees elections in the City of Brotherly Love.
