Saccone Wins PA-18 Nomination: State Representative Rick Saccone was nominated to be the Republican candidate in the March 13th special election to replace Congressman Tim Murphy.
Meuser Gave Money to Dems in Early 2000s: Former Revenue Secretary Dan Meuser, who is running for Congress in the 11th district, reportedly donated money to Democratic candidates at the state and federal level.
State Supreme Court Orders Gerrymandering Case Forward: The state Supreme Court ruled the Commonwealth Court needs to decide on a gerrymandering lawsuit before the end of the year, which could force the state’s districts to be redrawn ahead of 2018.
