1/17 Morning Buzz

Pennsylvania celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at the same time as we debate the legacy of Edward G. Rendell, Governor. Meanwhile, Tom Corbett prepares to take the helm of state government. Mark Schweiker tells PoliticsPA that he is official out of the 2012 Senate race. Pittsburgh gets two major boons: the Steelers don’t have to play the Patriots, and the city is in line for millions in revenue for hosting the AFC Championship (h/t to Jon Delano).

And don’t forget to friend Sy on Facebook, and follow @PoliticsPA on Twitter.

Good morning politicos, and welcome to the buzz.
