Santorum Endorses Mackenzie in PA-15 Bid: Former U.S. Senator and former Presidential candidate Rick Santorum endorsed state Rep. Ryan Mackenzie in his bid for the 15th Congressional district.

Nothstein Endorsed by Lehigh County DA in Bid for PA-15: Lehigh County Commissioner Marty Nothstein announced the endorsement of Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin in his bid to replace retiring Congressman Charlie Dent.

DGA Kicks off Two Ads Touting Wolf’s Term: The Democratic Governor’s Association launched two new ads touting Governor Wolf over the holiday weekend.

Marino Gets Primary Challenger: Bradford County Commissioner Doug McLinko announced he will challenge Congressman Tom Marino in next year’s Republican primary. McLinko cites the opioid crisis and Marino’s role in a bill detailed by 60 Minutes that made the crisis worse as a main reason he is entering the race.

Philly Deputy Mayor to Challenge Brady: Philadelphia Deputy Mayor Nina Ahmad announced she will be challenging Congressman Bob Brady in next year’s Democratic primary.
