Good morning politicos, and welcome to the Buzz.

Ups & Downs: Redistricting Edition: All last week we talked about the implications of congressional legislative redistricting. There are literally 272+ lawmakers who could get ups or downs based solely on their new districts. We’re going to try to dig a bit deeper for the Ups & Downs this week.

Murphy’s Got Chemistry: With the potential for a heated primary race in Pa’s 18th district, the American Chemistry Council is spending over $500,000 on a TV and radio ad buy in support of Rep. Tim Murphy.

Jane Earll will retire: The Pa. Senator from Erie announced this weekend that she won’t seek another term, setting Democrats up with their top pickup opportunity in the Pa. Senate.

Santorum on TV: The former Pa. Senator’s campaign, as well as a pro-Santorum Super PAC, are telling Iowa viewers that he is the true conservative in the race.
