  8. I have to say that I’ve been very surprised, and a little disappointed, that there has been no reporting on this website about the ongoing saga in the 156th state house district. Dan Truitt, the Republican incumbent, was up 78 votes on election night and appeared to have won, but after a long process of absentee ballots, provisional ballots, and a recount, Carolyn Comitta, the Democratic challenger, has been declared the winner.
