State Senate and House Open Seats Thread: State Rep. Matt Baker announced his retirement.  

Casey, Wolf to Speak at Pa. Dem State Committee Dinner: U.S. Senator Bob Casey and Governor Tom Wolf, who are both running for re-election, will speak at the Pennsylvania Democratic Party’s Keystone Dinner.

Supreme Court Releases Majority Opinion in Redistricting Case: Two days ahead of the deadline for the state legislature the state Supreme Court released the majority opinion detailing its new standard for Congressional maps in the state.

CD-11: Blue Dog PAC endorsed former Agriculture Secretary Denny Wolff’s bid in the 11th Congressional district.  “Denny Wolff has an extremely impressive resume of qualifications and accomplishments in both the public sector as PA’s former Agriculture Secretary and the private sector as the owner and operator of Pen-Col Farms.  Denny will make an outstanding Congressman who will think independently and put his constituents’ interests first.  The Blue Dog PAC proudly endorses Denny Wolff for Congress,” Congressman and Blue Dog Kurt Schrader said.
