  1. @ Bruce From Lancaster

You would have benefited from attending the 2nd Amendment workshop, for you would have learned of how pervasive its impact has been and continues to be…far beyond Gun Control.

    @ Idratherbefishingwithric:

You also would have benefited from being exposed to the raw-intellect [and committed activists] attracted to this event.

    @ Kathy

Your reaction to an item within the agenda reflects the ignorance [on multiple levels] of lefties.

    @ FedUP

You are on-point; the discomfiture with Corbett seemed 2-way.

    @ ron

You are incorrect; Reaganesque principles were constantly referenced [including by his son @ the Saturday Luncheon].

    @ tom paine

This was a combo of work-session and celebration-time; for example, the Heritage Foundation screened a documentary on Thatcher and it was fun to meet people with whom one had previously only communicated via e-mail.

  2. Lock up your wives!

    Lock up your daughters!

This party is going to be off the HOOK!

Ain’t no party like a Republican Brand Tea Party!

  3. The “Pacific Justice Institute”? Surely, they have relevance for Pennsylvania. A local California outfit that knows about as much about PA as we do about surfing……

Welcome Gidget, anywho. The jest used to be all the nuts used to roll to CA; need it be updated to wingnuts?

Is there such a thing as conservative rolfing? Tantric sex? Can I call you if I forget my mantra?

  4. I find it very ironic and laughable that one of the topics on Sat. is “11 Principles of a Reagan Conservative” when Reagan, their icon, couldn’t get elected dog catcher in todays’ GOP because he wouldn’t be conservative enough.

  5. If you think this crowd cares about supporting Corbett for re-election, you are sorely mistaken. This is the most conservative wing of the party, the one that takes issue with the establishment GOP as much as they do the Dems as being part of the problem.

  6. I find it interesting that “Understanding the Second Amendment” is their opening workshop. One would think with all the important issues facing our state and nation this one tops their list as an opening workshop? Who needs affordable healthcare, good paying jobs and a good education when you can have a smoking gun in your hand. If I was organizing this conference I most most likely start and finish 2 days of workshops with ” How can we get Corbett re-elected” an issue they will lose if they continue to ignore it.
