With all races finalized, besides the contest between Republican incumbent state Rep. Bud Cook and Democratic challenger Steve Toprani for Pennsylvania’s 47th state House district, PoliticsPA and the Law Office of Adam Bonin can relay the current top 17 finishers for the 2018 general election pool.

The race most people got wrong was in Pennsylvania’s 178th state House district. Only 8.3% of people correctly selected Republican Wendi Thomas as the winner in her rematch against Democratic state Rep. Helen Tai.
The next three most commonly wrong predictions included 2 state House seats and 1 state Senate seat. Only 31% correctly selected Republican Lori Mizgorski as the winner in 30th House District, 33% predicting Democrat Danielle Friel Otten in the 155th state House District and 34% who picked Democrat Katie Muth in the 44th state Senate District.

Congratulations to all! I thought I was feeling like Nostradmus or at least Kreskin predicting the exact number of a 40 seat shift to Dems in Congress this cycle but these predictions beats me. Again, congrats!
