Dahlkemper Rules Out Gov Bid: Former Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper will not run for Governor, but will seek the office of Erie County Executive instead.

Don’t Forget Me, Says Knox; Hires Keel: Philly businessman Tom Knox wants to secure his spot on Democrats’ shortlist of potential Guv candidates, he announced Monday when he hired veteran campaigner Frank Keel.

Northampton DA Morganelli Ponders LG Bid: John Morganelli, the Northampton County District Attorney and former candidate for Pa. Attorney General, is weighing a bid for Lieutenant Governor.

Pileggi, 12 Co-Sponsors, Introduce Electoral College Bill: Apparently undeterred by liberal outrage on the subject, State Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi has introduced a bill to change the way Pennsylvania allocates its electoral college votes in presidential elections.

Murphy Talks Mental Health, Gun Violence on ‘Face the Nation’ (Watch Video): On CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday, Republican Rep. and psychologist Tim Murphy suggested video games aren’t a significant cause of gun violence – a departure from what some Republicans and gun rights advocates have argued.

White House PA Sequester Forecast: Doom, Gloom: A White House report says the impact of the sequester – $1.2 trillion in automatic, across-the-board federal spending cuts – would be harsh in Pennsylvania.
