State Senate Fundraising 2013 Winners & Losers: PoliticsPA took a look at the recent campaign reports to see who’s starting off 2014 on the right foot – and the wrong one.

PA-Gov: Schwartz Releases Pay Equity Plan: The gubernatorial candidate unveiled her proposals to make sure women are given equal pay for equal work.

PA-Gov: McCord Backed by Philly Black Clergy: The religious group supporting McCord represents 400 pastors in SEPA.

Lt. Gov: Alton Missing From Harper Poll: The pollster neglected to include the only female and African American candidate.

PA-12: Hugya Endorsed by Plumbers Union: The Democratic congressional candidate received the support of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 354.

Rothfus Proposes Regulation Amendment: Rep. Keith Rothfus proposed an amendment that would improve transparency while assigning culpability for the negative impacts of federal regulations.

PA-8: Strouse Endorsed by OPEIU: The Democratic congressional candidate received the backing of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) today.

PA-12: McClelland Endorsed by USW Local 1196: The Democratic candidate secured the backing of the influential steelworkers union.

Legislative Elections Update:

HD-12: Lisa Zucco, a technical writer for an architecture and engineering firm in Seven Fields, announced that she will run as a Democrat against Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler). Metcalfe has held the seat since 1999 and is an outspoken conservative.
