Reed Opts Out of Congressional Bid, Won’t Run for Office in 2018: State House Majority Leader Dave Reed opted out of running for Congress, meaning he will not run for any elected office in 2018.

Miccarelli Won’t Run For Re-Election: State Rep. Nick Miccarelli, who was accused of physical and sexual assault by two women including state Rep. Tarah Toohil, announced he will not run for re-election.

Ding Looks to Bring Science Background to Congress: Eric Ding, a Democrat from Cumberland county, is looking to bring his background that includes two doctorate degrees from Harvard to Congress in the new 10th Congressional district.

Gale Removed From LG Primary Ballot: Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale, who is running for Lieutenant Governor was ordered off the primary ballot by the Commonwealth Court.
