The latest Politically Uncorrected column, Lamb & Saccone meet for another debate, a new poll shows Lamb with the edge, and Dan David says he will run in the new 4th Congressional district. Good morning politicos, here’s the Playbook!
Politically Uncorrected: The 18th – Bad and Worse: A Congressional District that no longer exists – two opponents who will never face each other again- a race that will have itself little or no direct influence – the balance of power in Congress – and yet much of the nation’s political establishment is watching it as if it were a presidential race.
Lamb & Saccone Exchange Sharp Words During Debate: Conor Lamb and Rick Saccone met for another debate ahead of the March 13th special election. The debate was marked by sharp words between the two candidates over steel tariffs, gun control, Social Security and Medicare.
Emerson PA-18 Poll: Lamb 48, Saccone 45: A new poll from Emerson College shows Democrat Conor Lamb with 48% support and Republican Rick Saccone with 45%.
David to Run in New PA-4: Republican Dan David announced he will run for Congress in the new 4th Congressional district.
