Bob Casey. PA’s senior Senator is hitting all the right notes in the face of budget shutdown in DC. A few weeks ago, he made headlines insisting that Congress go without pay in the event of a shutdown. This week, he’s joined several legislators endeavoring to ensure that U.S. soldiers continue to get paid in case of a stalemate. And he’s stayed too low key to get any disproportionate amount of blame.
Eugene DePasquale. The State Rep. from York made headlines across the state with the announcement that he’s looking at a run for Auditor General. It seems like a good match for DePasquale, who seems to love nothing more than find ways to save money.
