PHL-15: Inquirer Poll: Kenney 42 Williams 15 Abraham 15: The former Councilman has a commanding lead in the first independent poll of the Philly Mayoral election.

President Obama, Vice President Biden Respond to Amtrak Tragedy: The President stated that the actions of first responders “reaffirmed” that Philadelphia is indeed the City of Brotherly Love.

PA-Sen: Harper Poll: Sestak 42 Pawlowski 12 Shapiro 8: The 2010 nominee leads the first poll of the potential 2016 Democratic primary field.

Medical Marijuana Bill Passes State Senate: The upper chamber approved the medical cannabis legislation by a 40-7 margin.

Rendell Endorses Wecht for PA Supreme Court: The former Philly Mayor also threw his weight behind Lisa Deeley for City Commissioner.

PHL-15: Philly Progressive Caucus Endorses Kenney: Jim Kenney was named the “Most Progressive Choice for Mayor” by the PDPC.

PA-11: Barletta Undergoes Heart Procedure: The 59 year-old Congressman had a stent installed in an artery.
