Wagner Continues Pushing Debate Schedule
While he’s not at the 67 debates he wants, Republican gubernatorial nominee Scott Wagner said he’s working on it. He announced today he has accepted debates at 11 venues, and he will attend regardless of whether Gov. Tom Wolf does.

Scott Wagner seems to be running a campaign that is counter intuitive meaning he is intending to do one thing but another thing is happening. Or, as the late Warren Zevon said in a lyric, “the things that used to work don’t work anymore.” It seems like Scott Wagner wants very much for this to be 2016 when Trump was doing his “lock her up” routine and all was good in Wagner’s world. However, times rapidly changed and the political landscape is now completely different and not favorable to Scott Wagner. Being tone deaf to one of the most impactful manufactured crisis in modern American history with the border crisis and having Mike Pence at a fund raiser and talking of how great the Trump tax cuts have been (for a person of Wagner’s wealth I’m sure they are)–shows a stunning detachment from the political reality. This tone deafness to the bigger picture will be reflected this Nov 6th in a major defeat at the polls for Wagner.
