6/24 Morning Buzz

President Obama spent the night in Pittsburgh and will be speaking at Carnegie Mellon today. PoliticsPA will be there to cover the event. Follow our Twitter feed during the speech and look for analysis after the speech.

Rep. Schwartz spoke with reporters at Third Way, a centrist think-tank in DC. She answered questions on a wide range of subjects including the 2012 election, redistricting and even the proposed state budget.

It appears as if the General Assembly will not be forced to watch fireworks over the state capitol building since they have reached a tentative deal on a budget and will vote on it early next week.

Last, but certainly not least, you won’t want to end your week without coming back to PoliticsPA.com for this week’s Up & Down.
