Brubaker Won’t Seek Re-election: State Sen. Mike Brubaker (R-Lancaster) will not seek re-election in 2014, three Republican sources told PoliticsPA. Update: Brubaker confirmed his impending departure from the Senate.

DCCC Chair Israel to Philly for Strouse Fundraiser: There are two candidates vying to unseat Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks), but the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is sticking with its man. Chairman Steve Israel is coming to Philadelphia next week to raise money for Kevin Strouse.
