DCCC To Target Fitzpatrick During August Recess: Rep. Fitzpatrick is identified as one of 17 vulnerable GOP incumbents on a leaked Democratic memo.

Politico: PA-9 is 1 of 5 “Primaries to Watch”: The GOP contest between Rep. Bill Shuster and Art Halvorson isn’t yet considered a national race. At least not yet. Today, DC new outlet Politico tapped it as one of “5 House primaries to watch.”

Perry Kicks Off First Congressional Recess: Summer recess means one thing for a member of Congress: town halls. Freshman Rep. Scott Perry held a Harrisburg town hall. He said he opposes immigration reform and would support a government shutdown.
