Ahmad Launches First TV Ad of LG Campaign

Democratic Lieutenant Governor candidate Nina Ahmad launched her first ad of the campaign, introducing herself to voters telling the story about her being an immigrant and laying out what will likely be key issues in her campaign in the final weeks.

“My name is Nina Ahmad, I came to the US alone, having lived through a violent war as a child,” Ahmad says in the ad.

Ahmad then goes on to say she will “push to ban [assault weapons] in Pennsylvania to protect our communities and schools” and that she has “battled sexual harassment and discrimination that holds us back.”

The 30-second ad will play through election day across the state as part of a $500,000 buy that the campaign said is likely to expand.

“I grew up during a brutal war in which nearly 3 million people lost their lives for the cause of freedom, so not only am I passionate about banning weapons of war from our communities, but I have no fear of special interests like the NRA or powerful political bosses when it comes to protecting our children from mass shootings,” Ahmad said.

  1. This will be an excellent study to see if money has an impact on elections, since she obviously lacks any skills to be elected.

    1. Nina was Deputy Mayor for Public Engagement in Philly, and has an amazing story of accomplishment in that post and before. That’s why you Stack people see her as a threat. If Wolf wanted Stack again, he’d tell us. Stack’s Actor’s Equity card has gone to his head. He should wash off his make up and get some big boy pants instead of the skinny jeans and do an actual days’ work.

  2. Even more important: Cole Goodman’s ad for state committee just came out!! I wonder if he is still being investigated for his actions while on Sesquhanna school board?

    1. Wasn’t he busted for drugs? What a fine upstanding young man. Elected to the School Board and and then kicked off for sexually harassing young girls! Can’t believe the Governor and Executive Director hasn’t jumped on him to recuse himself from running for State Committee, after all we do have a Code of Conduct.

  3. Great human interest story and struggle to have a better life. Admirable person indeed.
