Altmire Holds Commanding Lead: 12-Point Advantage in Independent Poll

According to an independent Susquehanna Polling & Research poll conducted for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Congressman Jason Altmire continues to maintain a commanding lead in the race for Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District.  The 12-point lead comes one week after Republican challenger Keith Rothfus’s campaign released its own internal poll showing Rothfus trailing Altmire by 11 points.  Since that time, Rothfus has failed to gain ground, and may actually be slipping backward given the Susquehanna results.
