Ann Romney Stumps at 3 Pa. Events

Ann Romney at the RNC

Ann Romney is going to make her voice heard in Pennsylvania Monday, making several stops in the state to raise support and funds for her husband’s campaign.  She is following in the wake of Jill Biden, who made her way through Pa last week to campaign for the president.

Mrs. Romney’s presence is expected as an attempt to rally the GOP base and humanize her husband, providing a friendlier face for the campaign.

On Monday, Mrs. Romney will attend a lunch fundraiser at noon in Altoona, then head east for  victory rally at Elizabethtown College. She’ll end her day at a fundraising dinner in Harrisburg.

The rally in Elizabethtown will open its doors at one, and the main event is scheduled to begin at three thirty in the Leffler Chapel and Performance Center.

Pa. has seen a surge in surrogates in recent months; Mitt Romney visited southeast Pa. for a public event in late September, but aside that neither candidate has been in the state since July.
