There is a tentative deal in Harrisburg for a state budget.

Top lawmakers in the House and Senate are hesitant to call it a “deal” but they have confirmed for News 8 that a “handshake agreement” or “framework” is in place for a 2011-2012 Pennsylvania budget.

Staffers are now in the process of putting the details of the agreement on paper in bill form.
