As PoliticsPA reported on Monday, Republican state Senator Dave Argall will officially announce his candidacy for the 17th CD currently held by Democrat Tim Holden.  Holden has safely held on to the right-leaning district that GOP Presidential candidate John McCain won by 3 points in 2008, but Argall is well-known and popular, making the 17th yet another race to watch in 2010.
