Mixed verdict greets Veon in ‘Bonusgate’ trial

 

The Post-Gazette reports: Former Democratic House leader Mike Veon has been convicted on 14 of  the 59 counts he was charged with in connection to the attorney general’s “Bonusgate” investigation, a trial that ended suddenly Monday night in Harrisburg.

Two former aides were greeted with similar mixed verdicts while one, Stephen Keefer, was acquitted of all charges.
