Casey to Join Rendell, Parents to Rally in Support of Education Funding in Pennsylvania

 
HARRISBURG, PA – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) will join Governor Ed Rendell and public school parents from throughout the Commonwealth to hear their concerns about education funding in Pennsylvania.  Senator Casey will discuss the importance of restoring federal FMAP funding to Pennsylvania to prevent budget cuts and teacher layoffs and avoid increasing the burden on the budgets of our schools.  Senator Casey has been a strong supporter of restoring this funding.
