Just got off the phone with Congressman Patrick Murphy, who today was named to the powerful Appropriations Committee.
On to more important items, we got to talking about the Boyertown teen who ran across the Citizens Bank Park outfield Monday night and was Tasered.
The kid evidently called his father before taking the plunge.
Murphy said if his son pulled the same prank, he would have told him “not to come home that night.” And neither he nor his wife would bail him out of jail.
“I would have Tasered him myself,” Murphy said.
