The criminal trial for a man charged with vehicular homicide and drunken driving in the head-on crash that killed state Sen. James J. Rhoades more than a year ago is set to begin at 9 this morning in the Monroe County Courthouse, Stroudsburg.
Police say 46-year-old Thomas Senavitis had a blood-alcohol level more than four times the legal limit for driving when his pickup truck plowed into Rhoades’ Cadillac Oct. 17, 2008 on Route 209.
