The DCCC said Tuesday it has bought air time on local Lehigh Valley radio stations to criticize Republican U.S. Rep. Charlie Dent’s vote against a financial regulation plan, an early strike against the GOP lawmaker as he prepares to face Democratic challenger John Callahan.
“Congressman Dent voted to let Wall Street continue the same risky practices that crippled retirement accounts and left taxpayers on the hook for $700 billion dollars,” a narrator for the 60-second spot said.
The ad buy comes a day after the NRCC said it had purchased radio time in the 15th Congressional District critical of tax increases Callahan imposed during his time as mayor of Bethlehem.
UPDATE: PoliticsPA has learned the ad will run on news talk station WAEB.
