HARRISBURG – A top aide to Rep. Bill DeWeese (D., Greene) testified Monday that the onetime top Democratic leader knew his employees were doing campaign work on state time.

Former staffer Kevin Sidella said at DeWeese’s preliminary hearing that he spent the majority of his time doing fund-raising work when he worked for DeWeese between 2001 and 2007. That work included lining up donors and prepping the Greene County Democrat to talk to them.
