Pitt student newspaper slams Ravenstahl, tax proposal

 

In response to Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl’s plan to tax tuition at Pittsburgh colleges, The Pitt News, the University of Pittsburgh’s student newspaper, penned a scathing editorial of the mayor’s proposal.  Among other things, the editorial staff cited Pitt’s already significant contributions to the city.
