Preparing for a likely rematch of their successful 2006 election between then-Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R) and current-Rep. Patrick Murphy (D),  the Bucks County Democratic Committee released a web video showing Fitzpatrick’s inconsistent positions on key conservative issues.

Known as a centrist Republican during his stint in congress, Fitzpatrick has courted tea party activists in his comeback campaign, occasionally causing tension among Bucks Republicans.

The video shows Fitzpatrick pledging to support card-check legislation and co-sponsoring cap-and-trade laws while in Congress, two issues that he has changed his position on in the 2010 campaign.  The video is below:
