Republican congressional candidate Paul Huber hit the TV airwaves Thursday with a 30-second spot that said he, unlike the Democrat- controlled congress, knows what must be done to turn around the country’s economy because of his experience as a businessman.
“As your congressman, I would have one priority: jobs here, jobs now, jobs first,” Huber said during the ad.
He is seeking the GOP nomination in the 3rd Congressional District for the right to take on freshman Democratic congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper. Huber is the first Republican in the field to air an ad, which his campaign manager described as a “major buy” that included network and cable TV.
The candidate faces an array of Republicans in the primary, including Butler County car dealer Mike Kelly, who, along with Huber, are considered the early favorites.
