According to a memo acquired by PoliticsPA, a Special Order will take place on the House floor and live on CSPAN to honor the late Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha (D-12). The ceremony is expected to last roughly one hour.

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, we will commemorate the life and honor the memory of the late Congressman John “Jack” P. Murtha with a Special Order on the House Floor following votes on that day. I invite Members interested in paying tribute to Congressman Murtha to join me for this Special Order.
Congressman Murtha was dedicated to our country, our military troops and the people of Pennsylvania that he represented for 36 years. He will be greatly missed by our Delegation, our state, and the entire nation.
