The state Democratic Party unveiled a new Web ad Monday saying the Republican U.S. Senate candidate and former Club for Growth has become a fundraising favorite for Wall Street, a line of attack the party has frequently used recently as it prepares for what will be a nasty general election battle in the fall.
“Well, Pat, it looks like you’re getting a sweet payback from your currency swapping, hedge-fund derivative scheming bailout pals,” the narrator of the spot says. “No wonder you’re against Wall Street reform.”
