It may have started as a casual comment from Senate-hopeful Joe Sestak, but his claim that the White House offered him a job to step aside from the Democratic primary race with Sen. Arlen Specter isn’t going away.

After winning the primary against the longtime incumbent, both Sestak and the White House have come under heavy scrutiny and relentless questioning, and Republican Pat Toomey is happy to feed the fire.
