The Warren County Democratic Committee endorsed Jack Wagner’s gubernatorial bid on Thursday, the auditor general’s campaign said.

“We recognize Jack’s contributions as Auditor General and previously as a State Senator to the citizens of Pennsylvania and all political parties,” said Bernard Hessley, Chair of the Warren County Democratic Committee, in a statement. “We are confident that he will continue to put the Commonwealth’s priorities ahead of partisan political expediency. Jack Wagner represents what is honorable conduct by a public servant.”

Wagner’s campaign has emphasized the endorsements he’s received from an array of county committees and local officials, support that helped him receive a majority of state committee votes during this month’s Democratic Party’s endorsement meeting.
