Former U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan is officially running for Congress.
The Fox Chapel Republican has filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission for the seat currently held by Rep. Jason Altmire, D-McCandless. There have been rumors that she might run going back to October, and she has been attending many Republican events (including the GOP state committee meeting Saturday), but she had not yet officially announced a run.
She is currently set to take on fellow Republicans Bob Klein, Keith Rothfus and John Vinsick in the May 18 primary. Candidates could start collecting petition signatures yesterday to get on the primary ballot, but the final candidate list will not be known until March 24, the deadline for withdrawing from the race.

What I don’t get (other than how we can have such an idiot for a president) is why would the Muslims even want this??? They have to know that it will only breed more anger towards them. The good news is this may be the straw that breaks the camels back to bring the U.S.A. back to a true United Country. I do feel so sorry for the poor souls that lost loved ones in 911, what a total slap in their face. I’m sorry.
