Sarah Palin is wading in to the upcoming House special election to fill the seat of the late Rep. John Murtha with an endorsement of Republican Tim Burns.
In a posting on her Facebook page, the former Alaska governor cites Burns’s affinity for the tea party and their mutual love of a certain sport.
“In his spare time, he’s a ‘hockey dad’ coaching his sons’ team. Last year, he attended a local tea party and spoke passionately about the danger that the policies coming out of Washington pose for small business owners like him,” Palin writes.
