1. Legal challenge seeks to prevent RFK Jr. from appearing on Pennsylvania’s presidential ballot
“A legal challenge filed Thursday seeks to have third-party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. kept off Pennsylvania’s fall ballot, an effort with ramifications for the hotly contested swing-state battle between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris.
The petition argues the nominating papers filed by Kennedy and his running mate “demonstrate, at best, a fundamental disregard” of state law and the process by which signatures are gathered.
It claims Kennedy’s paperwork includes “numerous ineligible signatures and defects” and that documents are torn, taped over and contain “handwriting patterns and corrections suggestive that the indicated voters did not sign those sheets.” (PennLive)

2. Trump re-commits to debating Harris on ABC after backing out
“Former President Donald Trump re-committed to a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris on ABC on Sept. 10, after backing out last week.
At a rare press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump added that he would participate in an additional debate on Sept. 25 on NBC, with a “fairly full agreement” in place, and also reiterated his support for a debate on Fox News on Sept. 4. In his remarks, Trump confused the dates for the ABC and NBC debates, though a spokesperson later clarified his comments.” (Politico)

Instead it’s a chance to chronicle what the trends were right before the Democratic Presidential nomination shifted from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris; as well as track how this new Harris/Trump race does or does not move the numbers over the next three months…” (PennCapital-Star)

Red tides are destructive to the environment and kill things. Patches of discolored water, dead or dying fish, and respiratory irritants in the air often characterize red tides.
