Bartos Campaign: Bartos Running For Senate Despite Rumors

U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Bartos’ campaign is refuting rumors that Bartos will exit the Senate race to run for Lieutenant Governor.

“Jeff is busy spending 100% of his time meeting and speaking with Pennsylvania voters and raising money for his United States Senate campaign,” Bartos campaign spokesman Matt Langston said in an email to PoliticsPA.

City & State reported yesterday that both Republican and Democratic sources said Bartos was considering the move.

“This baseless rumor, floated by career politicians and political insiders, is fake news and is exactly the type of politics-as-usual conduct that voters throughout Pennsylvania, and around the country, have rejected,” Langston said.

  1. Is the good doctor serious? Who is Barletta anyway? Has anyone ever heard of this guy? I can’t imagine a candidate actually leaving a race because of someone no one knows.

That is the most weak-ass talking-point-filled statement ever.

  3. Might also be advisable to say he has no interest in being Lt.Governor. That he has a nicer house than the one at the Gap.

  4. Perhaps he should consider why these “rumors” have been floated; he cannot defeat Barletta.
