President Joe Biden is returning to the Keystone State next week.
According to a release from the White House Press Office, Biden will be traveling to Pittsburgh on Wednesday, March 31.
Biden is slated to deliver remarks on his “economic vision for the future,” and the “Biden-Harris Administration’s plan to Build Back Better for the American people,” according to the release. Additional details about the upcoming visit have not been released yet, although the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the visit is a part of the White House’s “Help Is Here” tour promoting the recently passed $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package.
This will be Biden’s second visit to the state since being sworn-in as president.
On March 16, Biden visited Delaware County to promote his administration signing the COVID-19 relief package.
First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona also made an appearance in the state earlier this month by visiting Fort LeBouef Middle School in Erie County on March 3.
