Republican Superior Court nominee Emil Giordano unveiled a series of Lehigh Valley endorsements today.
The list of backers includes: U.S. Congressman Charlie Dent, State Senator Mario Scavello, State Senator Lisa Boscola, State Representative Ryan Mackenzie, State Representative Justin Simmons, State Representative Gary Day, State Representative Julie Harhart, State Representative Joe Emrick and State Representative Marcia Hahn.
The name stands out from the pack is Sen. Boscola who is a Democrat that has represented the 18th district since 1999. She served in the State House for two terms before that.
“I am very proud to have bipartisan support from so many of our Lehigh Valley area lawmakers,” said Judge Giordano. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for work they do on behalf of our area and really appreciate their support of my campaign to serve the Commonwealth on the Pennsylvania Superior Court.”
Giordano will face Democratic nominee Alice Dubow for an open seat on the Superior Court this November.

This guy screwed up the Boro of Northampton while he was Solicitor, letting all types of bad business’s in that should not be in their location near homes. Plus other bad moves.
Politics sucks and getting worse.
Well, where is Morganelli? Why is he not endorsing Alice Debow? Sure, he wants the state Dems to support him in a run for Attorney General, but he doesn’t endorse Alice Debow, or even the local democrat for county judge, Sam Murray. What a hypocrite!
With Boscola and Morganelli leading the team, one has to wonder: is there a Democratic Party in Northampton County? Here is Boscola, who’s husband enjoyed a very cushy job for eight (8) years under a democratic administration for the county, endorsing a republican judge who has the worst record for showing up at work at the courthouse in Easton of any of the judges! What a disgrace these two are to the democratic party!
We should get rid of Democrat Embarrassment Number 1: Kathleen Kane, and then get rid of Boscola.
It’s time for Boscola to step down and then no one gives a damn what party she is. She is an embarrassment to the entire State Senate.
I guess she is still drunk—doesn’t know which party worked for HER! She is a total disgrace.
Who would want her support after the reading the following:
Timeline
1994: She first won a seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1994 and served two terms.
2000: Boscola, who had a drunk driving arrest herself in 2000, strongly criticized Mann for the ads.
2005: In 2005, Boscola briefly considered switching to the Republican Party after she was blamed for the defeat of a Democratic candidate for State Senate.
2014: In April 2014, an altercation at a Harrisburg bar led to Boscola being asked to leave.
Boscola needs to go! Republicans don’t do this, why do Democrats? Shame, shame, shame! All the more reason to vote!
She already pushes legislation that you would expect from a tough-on-crime Republican.
Time for Boscola to switch parties if she is going to pull stunts like this.
