Congressman Chaka Fattah is still fighting.
Today he plead not guilty to the twenty-nine charges filed against him last month.
“I plead innocent – not guilty,” he stated. “I haven’t committed any crime.”
The Congressman was released on $100,000 bail (which he didn’t have to pay) and handed over his passport (although he can still take congressional trips).
Rep. Fattah’s hearing was presided over by U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy Rice.
As William Bender of the Daily News chronicled, Fattah was unable, despite his best efforts, to escape the press corps. He did, however, pledge to run for re-election next year.

Where is Governor Wolf, Senator Casey asking for his resignation? Oh, that’s right, he is a male and not a female. Only females are asked to resign. He’s one of the “good old boys”.
Duh…haven’t ever seen a politician say he was in the wrong…remember Clinton redefining the word is for the American public…slime ball he is
He was released on his own recognizance (ROR).
His defense is going to be that Kandy Kane did it
My thoughts exactly, would I get that treatment? No passport but he can still travel as a Congressman?
How’s he out on bail if he doesn’t have to pay it?
Special treatment?
