CeaseFirePA Announces Endorsements

ceasefirepa-2CeaseFirePA released its first set of recommendations for the upcoming elections in the State House and Senate.

These endorsements are based off of the candidates’ questionnaires, voting records and public stances. Once all of the candidates’ information is calculated they receive a score that portrays their stance on gun violence prevention.

“People want to know where these candidates stand on gun violence prevention,” says Executive Director Shira Goodman. “We are hoping to provide the voters with information they need to make crucial decisions. Candidates need to know that the gun lobby isn’t the only organization paying attention and that PA voters care deeply about how candidates propose to fight gun violence and make Pennsylvania safer.”

  1. wow – Taylor is a Philly R and Harper, Murt, and Kampf represent Chester/Montco area. They’re not exactly your rural, Tea Party Rs.

  2. The endorsements of some of these Republicans are really disappointing. It’s sad that there isn’t a more effective anti-gun violence organization in Pennsylvania…
