Center-Right Group Launches Ads Thanking Two Pa. Congressmen

AAN Tax AdThe American Action Network, a right leaning group, launched ads thanking Congressmen Ryan Costello (R-Chester) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks) for pushing for tax reform.

“The White House and congressional leaders have put forward a plan to make our tax code simpler and fairer with lower rates giving hardworking families a tax cut of $1,200 a year. Congress now has the responsibility to act quickly and give middle-class families like the Skowronskis some tax relief and peace of mind,” AAN Executive Director Corry Bliss said in a release.

The ads are Melissa and Thad Skowronski from Michigan discussing what it is like for them to to live paycheck to paycheck and call on Congress to pass tax reform.

The ads are part of a national ad buy that will last two weeks.  The ads are specific to each Congressman.

Today, the House passed the 2018 budget that is viewed as a major part of passing the tax reform package.

  1. I don’t know where they get the impression that the middle class will benefit from this tax plan, there isn’t enough information to base their conclusion on. We, of course, know that the wealthy and corporations are getting a nice big juicy cut! There is a lot of detail when it comes to that part of the plan.
Are they also going to thank the GOP for the big rise in the deficit? But that is typical. Scream about the tax and spend democrats, yet true to their hypocrisy, create a bigger deficit and blame it on the Dems when they get into power.
Tell woman they can’t have an abortion, yet if they get their mistress pregnant, encourage them to have one.
    Take off the blinders people.
