Kevin Dellicker, who ran an unsuccessful campaign for the Republican nomination for the 7th congressional district seat in 2022, has announced he is again a candidate for the position currently occupied by Democratic Rep. Susan Wild.
He is the founder and owner of Dellicker Strategies, a technology services company that helps schools and organizations improve their cybersecurity and telecommunications infrastructure. Dellicker additionally serves as a military intelligence officer in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and has served four overseas deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
“It’s no secret that Washington is broken,” he said in a statement. “While this level of dysfunction may boost TV ratings and fundraising, it hurts our families and communities. What Washington needs is less talking heads and more leaders who will roll up their sleeves and work to bring commonsense solutions that benefit our families and communities.
“My career as a small business owner, veteran, and military officer has given me the right experience, skillset, and leadership to represent our community and work toward real change and solutions.
Dellicker was defeated by Lisa Scheller, 51.3 – 48.7%, in the 2022 primary – a difference of 1,800 votes. Scheller was edged by Wild by 5,800 votes or two percentage points in the general election.
“I’m not a professional politician. I’m not looking for a new career in Washington,” he said. “I’m running to protect and expand the Republican majority, get the job done, and then return home to Germansville. I’m running because this is my home too. I was raised here and my wife Susan and I raised our (three) boys here. We need a voice in Washington who is one of us and will represent all of us.”
Dellicker, who is pro-life, says he will also work to defend the 2nd Amendment as well as shrink the federal budget deficit by eliminating unnecessary programs, reducing excessive spending, and promoting economic growth.
He supports requiring voter identification at the polling place and checking signatures on absentee ballots. Dellicker wants to keep the federal government from interfering in local elections, but he also seeks to prohibit politicians, bureaucrats, and activist judges from changing the rules at the last minute.
The 7th Congressional District includes all of Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties and part of Monroe County.

Same BS Republican candidates have been spewing for 30+ years now. Not a career politician means nothing if they just make things worse. Pro-life sure, but won’t support anything that will stop children from being gunned down in a classroom.
