Dennis Roddy Joins Cold Spark Media

Dennis-RoddyDennis Roddy has found a new position.

Roddy is joining the Pittsburgh consulting firm Cold Spark Media. He’ll provide strategic media and writing services to the company.

“Having a resource like Dennis available means Cold Spark’s clients will have access to a widely recognized writer with vast research and reporting skills – to say nothing of his institutional knowledge,” said Cold Spark partner Mark Harris. “For a generation now, Dennis was the go-to person in the area of political reporting and our new relationship will make him the go-to guy for our clients.”

Roddy spent almost forty years as a reporter for The Pittsburgh Press and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

He also served as a special assistant to former Governor Tom Corbett.

  1. Best wishes for a good and honorable man who is more than a moderate success in his own right, at a time when the label of journalist is claimed by many but earned by few. In the days of money politics, knowing the system and what motivates the different people who operate its complex levers is essential to understanding and shaping the field, exposing the truth, and connecting the dots. It is equally essential to finding and shaping the compromises required in a pluralistic system. Happy to see one good man is still on the field and in the arena.

  2. Yes mr fact speaker but most campaigns are polite and ignore trackers since everyone knows thats what you do. Part of the biz. This nutjob cant keep his head

  3. Glad that Mr. Magoo landed himself a new gig. Writing editorials for Pennlive picking on Wolf doesn’t pay the bills.

  4. Having Roddey around to repair Mr. Harris’ tortured grammar and syntax surely makes him invaluable to his new firm.
